I never intended to do a pirate painting. I came up with this one after I  painted over another painting I didn’t like. The design of the other painting showed through the black paint I used to cover it and after turning the ACEO this way and that I saw an image of a pirate. I love this painting not only because it is colorful and fun but because it was a painting I never intended to create. Sometimes those are the best ones.
