Godzilla is a well known figure in our household. My youngest son Jake absolutely loves everything related to him. The movies he likes the best show Godzilla as a hero, saving Tokyo from evil monsters bent on destruction. So it was only fitting that I painted a rock with Godzilla on it for him. We put it outside with a bunch of other rocks that various household members had painted and mostly forgot about him – until it was time to move to a new house. Godzilla was worn and faded from sitting outdoors in all sorts of weather, but Jake rememberd him and made sure we took him to the new house. So now Godzilla sits outside with a bunch of other rocks which we will mostly forget about. But at least he is with us and that is what matters.
Go Go Godzilla!
