Another example of my “don’t think, just paint” mantra. This painting was mostly done just by feeling – letting my feelings determine the color, brush strokes, placement of paint, type of brush etc. I really enjoy doing the paintings where I don’t do much thinking – it is relaxing and fun. I never quite know how it will turn out. This one came out really cute. I love the bright colors and the quirkiness of the cats, the shadows and the highlights. One of my very favorites.
