I painted this bird a few years ago – before I really got into painting for money. It is painted on a round piece of plywood and I have it sitting on a shelf in my bedroom. A long while back I painted some birds on a tissue box holder for my sister and my mom told me that not many people could paint birds like that. I do have trouble making the feathers look whispy – to show the texture of them, but they are enjoyable to paint. I won’t sell this one – I like it too much.
